Panelist: Ronnie Murungu, International Youth Foundation

 

Ronnie Murungu serves as the Regional Director for Africa and the Middle East at the International Youth Foundation, bringing over twenty years of distinguished experience in international development and humanitarian leadership. His extensive work spans many countries across Africa and the Middle East, demonstrating exceptional cross-cultural adaptability and a sustained commitment to fostering youth-led social innovation. A passionate advocate for Positive Youth Development and Creative Youth Development approaches, Ronnie has dedicated his career to creating enabling environments where young leaders can drive meaningful social change through collaborative action and conscious leadership. He holds a Master of Science in Strategic Management from Chinhoyi University of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Africa University. As a  researcher and writer on various development themes, Ronnie continues to contribute valuable insights on building global solidarity and empowering youth as catalysts for sustainable development s.

 

Panelist: Ángel 

Ángel Solís is passionate about social impact, entrepreneurship, and innovation. He leads digital transformation programs for SMEs across LATAM at Tecnológico de Monterrey, helping businesses leverage technology for sustainable growth.As the founder of Kukulmat, he designs learning experiences that empower indigenous youth in Mexico, bridging tradition and innovation to foster cultural pride and tackle inequalities.Ángel has participated in international leadership initiatives such as Next Generation Leaders and Active Citizens. He has also spoken at the Latin American Impact Investment Forum and contributed to the Stanford Social Innovation Review en Español, advocating for education, technology, and cultural preservation as drivers of systemic change. 

 

Panelist: Megan 

 

Megan Mukuria is an Ashoka fellows and the founder of Zana Africa. Megan is a recognized leader in the field of gender equity and specifically the role menstrual health plays in accessing full rights, with 23 years’ experience in non-profit and for-profit leadership in Kenya. She successfully built ZanaAfrica from ideation into a recognized leader internationally, creating holistic impact through policy, product innovation, sanitary pad sales, rights-based health education, and social and behavior change communication that benefitted over 400,000. 

 

 

Panelist: Brian

Brian Nduhiu is a versatile software engineer and entrepreneur based in Nairobi, Kenya. As the Cofounder and CEO of SdioX Labs, he leads a software consultancy and B2B SaaS aggregator, leveraging his extensive technical expertise and business acumen. With experience spanning infrastructure scalability, full-stack development, and team leadership, Brian previously excelled as a Senior Software Engineer at Triply.co where he focused on enhancing tech infrastructure and cross-departmental collaboration. Beyond corporate roles, Brian is deeply involved in Kenya’s tech community as Co-Organizer of VueJS Kenya, organizing developer meetups and fostering knowledge sharing. His diverse background includes positions at NCBA Group, CloudFactory, and Alidasoft, complemented by entrepreneurial ventures like Ionix LLC, where he developed healthcare solutions. A Kenyatta University Computer Science graduate with additional certifications in networking and cybersecurity, Brian combines technical prowess with strategic vision to deliver innovative solutions.
